My studio window became the site of an urban window performance and gallery installation on Mother’s Day, May, 2013.

I performed the ritual of cleaning 250 long stemmed red roses in the studio window as people walked by, looked in, stopped to watch, or continued walking. As I cleaned each rose, I set it into grid frames hanging in the studio completing a gallery exhibition which transformed over four weeks to become an exhibition of handmade paper objects embedded with rose petals, stems and leaves.
