An installation, Ace Art, Winnipeg, Manitoba, 1986

Handmade felt was crafted into bricks, which were then used to construct a crypt. The crypt, filled with sawdust, exuded an disarming ambiance. The pillars of this structure were formed by molding wet sawdust inside plastic bags. As the exhibition progressed, fascinating ecological metamorphoses took place, transforming the color of the pillars as the sawdust and water intermingled, creating an ever-evolving spectacle for the spectators.
