Gallery 111, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, MB
A unique garden installation was showcased in the gallery, featuring an unconventional foundation of sawdust. The sawdust was carefully adorned with toxic dyes and detritus, adding an intriguing element to the overall display. Over the course of the exhibition, seeds of various vegetables and grass were scattered within the sawdust, resulting in the gradual sprouting of vibrant greenery. To enhance the immersive experience, a fascinating fountain of sawdust sporadically sputtered and spewed, adding an element of surprise and intrigue to the viewers. The combination of unconventional elements and the natural transformation of the garden throughout the exhibition provided visitors with a captivating artistic experience.
