A geurilla art installation.
I restyled some found clothing and fabric while my studio was empty due to an exhibition. I visited thrift shops and found fancy fabrics and clothing which became new garments . I created a boutique-like atmosphere in my studio by hanging the garments in a shop atmosphere. Even though I didn’t have any sizes or plans to sell the garments, the installation attracted a lot of pedestrian traffic and sparked interest and conversation. People knocked on my door and wondered when the boutique was opening.
